LMS - How to book on a Zoom or face-to-face training event
Booking yourself on to a training event
To book your place on a training event you’ll need to navigate to the course page by clicking on the tile on
your dashboard.
- Scroll down to the training event and click on the ‘Go to event’ button
- Select your confirmation of attendance preference from the drop-down list and then click the ‘Sign-up’ button
You’ll receive an email confirmation and your manager will also receive an email.
- On the day of the training (if it’s a Zoom) you can access the Zoom link in one of three ways:
- If the link was in your email you can open it and click on the link.
- If you chose for the meeting to go into your calendar you can open the event and click on the
link there.
- Click on the link sent by the meeting host or administrator.
Note: if it’s an ‘Online Induction’ Zoom then the link will also be available on the ‘Online Induction’ page in
the LMS (just below the meeting timetable).
Unable to sign up for an event?
- There could be a restriction on attending the training i.e. you need to complete another training
activity first. You’ll be able to see if there’s a restriction just below the event timetable.
- You booked on to a previous session and didn’t attend, if this is the case you need to speak with
your administrator to mark you as not attended for the previous one. You’ll then be able to make a
new booking.
