How to use Email in MaaS360
Below is a basic overview of the Email app in Maas360
The App
Tap on the Email app on the MaaS360 home screen to view existing and create new emails.
View emails
To view emails, tap on the email in the Inbox.
If the email is in another folder:
- Android: Tap the 3 lines in the top left hand corner of email, then tap the folder you want.
- iOS: Tap 'Inbox' at the top of the Email app, then select the folder. If you can't see any other folders, tap your name at the bottom of the list, then tap the folder you want.
To reply to the email:
- Tap the left hand arrow in the bottom right hand of the email, then choose an option
- Compose the reply, then:
- Android: Tap the right arrow in the top right hand corner of the email
- iOS: Tap 'Send'
To delete the email, tap the rubbish bin icon:
- Android: It's at the top of the email
- iOS: It's at the bottom of the email
If you want to move the email to another folder:
- Android: Tap the 3 dots in the top right hand corner of the email, tap 'Move', then choose the folder.
- iOS: Tap the folder icon at the bottom of the email then choose the folder
New email
To create a new email, tap the pencil icon at the bottom right hand corner for of the screen, compose the email, then tap 'Send' (iOS) or the right hand arrow at the top right of the screen.
Settings
On the MaaS360 home screen, tap 'Settings'
- Android:
- Tap 'Email'
- Tap your email address
To edit your signature, tap 'Signature'. The signature is made up of two parts, your personal part at the top and a pre-defined corporate signature below; this can't be edited. Use the following example below to format the personal part, if you want your mobile number as well, add m: <phone number> below t: <office number> or instead of t: if you wish

To change how far back emails sync from the email account, tap 'Days to Sync' then choose a timeframe
By default the app only sync's emails in the Inbox and no other email folders. To selectively sync specific; or all; other email folders to the phone, tap 'Auto-Sync Folders', then tap the check box next to the folders you want to sync to the phone automatically.
- iOS:
- Tap 'Mail, Contacts, Calendar, Tasks'
- Tap 'Mail'

To change how far back emails sync from the email account, tap 'Days to Sync' then choose a timeframe
By default attachments are removed from emails after 3 months; this is to free up space on the phone: to change this to never, tap 'Auto Delete', then tap 'Never'.
