If you wish to access MacIntyre email on your iOS device, MacIntyre supports a secure method using the MaaS360 system. This system keeps access to email, calendar, contacts and tasks separate from your personal content on your own device and in a secure container.
If you wish to set this up, first you need to contact IT Support to request access to MacIntyre email on your iOS device. If the request is approved, they will generate an email, which you will need to install access.
Before the system can be installed on your iOS device, you need to ensure you have a PIN (also known as a passcode) enabled on your device and have a PIN of 6 characters or more set-up. This must be done before following the below instructions.
Scan
Once you have received the request, either point your phone at the QR code in the email; which will open a link in your web browser; or visit the web link.
Password
Type in your email password, then tap 'Continue'
License
Scroll through the 'License Information', then if you're happy to proceed, tick 'I have read and accept the terms' and tap 'Continue'
Install profile prompt
Tap 'Install'
Profile
The enable email access on your device, the system needs to install a configuration to ensure your device complies with MacIntyre's mobile policy, if you're happy to proceed, tap 'Allow'
Install the profile
Tap 'Install' then enter your device passcode
Install the certificate
Tap 'Install' to install the certificate
Install confirmation
Tap 'Install' again to confirm the certificate install
Trust
Click 'Trust' to allow the system to ensure compliance
Install the app
Tap 'Install' to install the required MaaS360 app
Tap done
Tap 'Done'
Password for app install
If prompted, enter your iTunes password, or use it's biometric authentication
Continue to enroll
Tap 'Continue'
Close
Once confirmed that your device is enrolled, you can close the web browser
Open the app
Tap the MaaS360 app that is now install on your device
Bio
If you want to use biometric authentication; Face or Touch ID; to access MaaS360, tap 'Enable'. If you prefer a passcode, tap 'Cancel'
PIN
As well as using biometric authentication, the app also needs a PIN set up. You will only be prompted for the PIN if biometric authentication fails, or if you haven't used the MaaS360 app for more than 48 hours. Set you chosen PIN
Your PIN must be at least 8 characters, contain at least one letter and/or numberConfirm

Allow location
Part of the compliance is to allow location when using the app, if you're happy to proceed, tap 'Allow'
Allow notifications
To allow for email notifications on your device, tap 'Allow'
Device PIN
If your current device PIN is less than 6 characters, MaaS360 will prompt you to change it.
Set-up email
To set up email, tap 'Email'
Email password
Enter your email password, then tap 'Sign in'. If you tap 'Skip for Now' you will go back to the MaaS360 home screen.
If you have an Exchange Online email account; part of Microsoft 365; you will be prompted for your Multi Factor Authentication codeSkip or done
Tap 'Skip' to bypass the welcome tour, or scroll through them then tap 'Done'
Emails
You will then see your emails.
Install other apps
Whilst most of the required apps are pre-installed in MaaS360, you will need to install Browser and Editor. Tap each of them in turn and you will be prompted to install them from the Apple App Store.
Apps
These apps are accessible from either the MaaS360 app or from your home screen. If you open Editor or Browser from the home screen, you will be prompted to login. This is the same PIN as the MaaS360 app; or use biometric authentication
